Quality Assurance portal LOGOS
LOGOS outlines Cooperation, Reflection and Action at ECA with attention to Checks and Balances.
LOGOS is integral ECA quality method that combines all efforts of the Study Directions, Study Programs and their Councils, Study Department, Senate and its bodies continuously moving towards the quality development in education and applied research.
Academy-wide agreements 2023 – 2027 related to quality.
Quality assurance comprises educational policy based on the following principles of the LOGOS mutuality:
- The Academy-wide vision on quality assurance focuses on subsidiarity, appreciative approach, verified trust, transparency and external perspective.
- Culture of quality is central for ECA’s vision of quality assurance. This concept refers to an organizational culture of self-reflection, consistently seeking further growth in external and internal collaboration. A mature culture of quality at every level works for continuous and multi-layered quality assurance in education.
- LOGOS relies on conviction that educational quality and educational quality assurance depends on mutual dialogue between the key stakeholders (students, administration, teaching staff, employers etc.). At this level there is also a collaboration with representatives of the Church leaders, alumni and independent international and local partners.
- Educational quality assurance is strengthened by horizontal and vertical alignments – interaction between study programs and all Academy bodies.
